• Former professor at IKDRC, where he had conducted more than 2000 renal transplants, managed a myriad of patients and continued his academic interests as well.
• Has many publications to his name, has conducted several workshops for students' education, and has been a guide for many theses at IKDRC.
• Always advocated and encouraged cadaveric renal transplant and has been instrumental in establishing and expanding the cadaveric renal transplant programme at IKDRC.
